Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel pays housekeeper’s son to have heart surgery at Paris Saint-Germain

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel bought his housekeeper a villa and paid for his son’s heart surgery while he was at Paris Satin-Germain, it has been revealed.

Tuchel led the French squad from 2018-2020 and even took them to the Champions League final in 2019/20 where they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich. He left the club at the end of 2020.

While at PSG, the German manager hired a cleaning lady from the Philippines, according to Canal Sport.

As quoted by the Mail, when Tuchel learned that his housekeeper had worked overtime to fund his son’s heart surgery, he made a generous offer to pay instead.

Immediately impressed with her employee’s work ethic, it didn’t take long for her to understand why she had taken so many hours.

And as soon as he discovered the reason, Tuchel wasted no time spending the money to finance his son’s surgery.

The operation would have gone well and the son of the former governess of Tuchel is now fully recovered.

But the generosity of the 48-year-old didn’t stop there.

Impressed with her attitude and work ethic, he then bought his housekeeper a villa in the Philippines after learning that she had always wanted to buy a house there.

She had dreamed of retiring there with her family, but was nervous that she would never be able to afford a home there.

After leaving Paris, Tuchel signed a deal with west London club Chelsea, guiding them to a Champions League trophy in just six months at the club.
